Summer Camp Dates and Information

Pricing

2024 Pricing, that we think you should know:

Biggest Bang for the Buck:  Newmarket Rec has always prided ourselves in being the most affordable multi-week camp on the Seacoast.  After the research we did this spring, we believe we still are.  When you calculate the pricing by the day based on 7 weeks of camp, you are actually only paying less than $29 day per child day to attend a 7 and 1/2 hour day of  camp.

According to Indeed it’s an Employee’s Market:  The only other reason you still may see a slight increase is so that we can be competitive in our current NH employee’s market.  This is happening all over, trust us, this is not just us.  So in order to get the best and most qualified staff that you would want us to hire, we need to stay competitive and increase the hourly rates for our summer staff this year.

2024 SUMMER CAMP PRICING:

Camp Dates:   Monday,  July 1st  – Friday, August 16th  (7 weeks)  Monday -Friday:  8:30am – 4pm.

No Camp on July 4th or July 5th.

Rec 2 (Grades 3+4) $997/child* $1189/child*
Rec 3 (Grades 5+6) $997/child* $1189/child*

** Qualify for a discount?  Every 3rd child in the same family will receive a 15% discount off the lowest camp fare rate.

Please note should you decide to register on-line or over the phone using a credit card the price of camp will already reflect a non-refundable 2.79% credit card surcharge to the camp price. Should you pay by cash or check in person that additional 2.79% fee will be adjusted off your bill and you will not be charged.

*PAY ADVERTISED LOWEST RATE: In order to pay the lowest rate as advertised in yellow under our full day 7 week Adventure or Teen Turf Camps, you must pay in cash or by check. In doing this, you are avoiding the added credit card 2.79% service fee as noted above.

The Volume Discount Concept: In order to make this camp as affordable as it is, we work on the volume discount by requiring that you sign up for all 7 weeks weeks regardless if your child does not need to go everyday or if you have a planned week vacation with the family.  Trust, us if we go to a week by week, the price will increase.  For example, fluctuating numbers week to week costs more from an administrative standpoint.  Another reason for this is being able to guarantee our staff the full 7 weeks of employment, its one of the perks in working here and why we get such a great staff each year!   We like to tell people sign up for the whole 7 weeks, it doesn’t matter if your child misses a day or two a week or even a few weeks of camp, in the long run, you are still paying less than if you attended a $250 week camp for 4 weeks.   Family plans can change and it’s just always nice to know that your child can just show up on any day because they have a guaranteed spot all summer.   If you are only looking to send your child for one week of camp, please check out our specialty camp options on another page titled:  Rec Summer Specialty Camps
